We are seeking motivated, talented, responsible people to be
a part of making the festival a magical event. Volunteering offers great
benefits and is a wonderful way to meet people. Volunteers are needed prior to
and during the festival.
Help as little as two hours, or as much as you like.
If you would like to volunteer we
would love to hear from you.
Volunteers are required for the
following
1) Assisting with setup on Friday 19th March, 2010
a) Erecting stage area
b) Marking out areas
c) Cleaning and preparing utility areas
d) Erecting Signage
e) Setting up Festival
equipment/furniture
f) Putting up decorations
2) Assisting with setup early Saturday morning
a) Assisting exhibitors where needed
b) Directing traffic
3) Information Area - Saturday/Sunday
a)provide
a central contact point for exhibitors and the community
4) Maintenance and clean up duty
(Friday to Sunday)
a) Toilets, Venues and Grounds
b) Checking signage/fencing/barriers
etc throughout weekend
c) Any maintenance required throughout
the weekend
5) Venue Management (Friday to Sunday)
a) Ensuring venues are clean and have
sufficient seating
6) Activities
a) To co-ordinate and supervise
7) Pack up (Sunday and Monday)
a) Taking down temporary fencing and
signs
b) Packing and loading Festival
equipment/furniture onto trailers/trucks
c) Clean up of grounds
d) Packing chairs etc for collection
by hire company
